Confidentiality
Matter information is handled in confidence. Case details are never placed in URLs, tracking parameters or analytics.
What we receive
The information you enter in an enquiry form, when enquiries are open, and any documents you choose to upload. You decide how much to share; a short outline is enough to begin, and we can ask for more later. Until you submit, your answers are kept only in your own browser tab, so a refresh does not lose them; they are cleared when you submit or close the tab.
Who sees it
Submissions are stored in a restricted database that cannot be read from the website itself; only authorised staff with server-side access can view them. Documents are held in private storage. Nothing about your matter is sent to analytics tools, and nothing is presented to any insurer or capital provider until you have agreed what will be shared and with whom.
Privilege considerations
Sharing privileged material with third parties can affect privilege. Please take advice from your lawyers before sending privileged documents; we can work from a summary at the outset and agree appropriate confidentiality or common-interest arrangements before detailed material is exchanged.
Non-disclosure
Where a matter proceeds, we are happy to enter into a non-disclosure agreement before receiving detailed information, and insurers approached on your behalf are asked to keep the information confidential.
